Vapor has grown into a provider of full-service energy solutions that comprehensively meet its customers’ needs, from project design through to turnkey delivery. We draw on our long experience to provide our customers with energy efficient solutions which guarantee safe generation of heat and electricity and reduce environmental burden. Vapor designed the first Finnish fire-tube boilers 50 years ago, and Vapor has since become the biggest manufacturer in the field in Finland.
Since 1959 number of delivered Vapor boilers is around 8000 pieces.
Today we can offer, in addition to traditional Vapor water and steam boilers, functional and proven small and large bio boiler plants. In addition to boiler plant deliveries, we also have long traditions in workshop production. Our workshop in Nivala have extensive know-how in the manufacture of pressure equipment. Our workshop capacity is self-sufficient and we also sell our workshop expertise to other plant suppliers. Our expertise is renowned within and beyond Finland, and our exportation now extends to Russia and several other regions. Our aim is to continue our growth and to be the leading steam boiler plant supplier in our target areas.

Many of our staff have worked in the manufacture of pressure equipment decades. Modern engineering expertise requires suitable equipment to achieve high quality and efficient production.
It is possible to handle pieces weight of 64 tons at the workshop. Hook height is 8 meters.
Quality comes from professionalism and experience
Our Operations are guided by the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. The Pressure Equipment we manufacture therefore meets these standards and our operations are controlled in accordance with the ISO EN 9001 qualitys standard. We have certified the welding quality system SFS EN ISO 3834-2 and Enviromental System ISO EN-14001 as well as the ISO EN-45001 Safety standard.

The manufacture of Vapor Boilers began as early as 1959 in Turku, from where operations were moved initially to Liminka and later to Oulu.OMP-Konepaja Oy bought Vapor business operations and product rights from Vapor Finland Oyś bankryptancy estate. Vapor Products includes horn and Water Tube Boilers with Grate and BFB technology.
Exports of Steam Boilers to Russia began in the 1980ś and were very brisk, especially int the early 1990s. At that time , steam boilers were starting point for their thermal design due to the demanding operating Conditions in Russia.
